When will this madness end?

Cartoon source: The Economist

THE nonsense of African brotherhoood aside, so-called President Robert Mugabe has ruined Zimbabwe with impunity. For Zim to be on a true road to recovery the madman must go. So bloggers, I ask you, how do you suggest uncle Bob is removed from the equation?

  1. Maybe Pastor Paul Verryn of the Methodist Church has a plan for him. Let's send the pastor to Zim and see how he and Mugabe handle each other

  2. Ja, it will be a tension-filled encounter!

  3. Zimbabwe must vote again and Mugabe must be voted out and the MDC must be in charge of the country, Tsvangirai must be the President, Mugabe is too old and he can't think about his people.

  4. I've always thought let's just wait him out, he can't have that much time left. An assassination is out of the question, because that would mean martydom, and that would create even crazier fanatics, and they would wreak even more havoc, and, and, and.....
    So let's just wait.

  5. I'm sure the waiting game is quite unbearable for the multitudes of suffering Zimbabweans!

  8. Botshelo Selogilwe commented: "I think Zimbabwean people have the power in their hands to stand up and fight this depressing situation. For as long as they show their support to President Mugabe, he will be resistant to move. South Africans jointly and bravely fought against apartheid regime, their determination and dedication to bring change in their own country, forced the world to support them.

"It is not impossible for Zimbabwe to achieve this. Of course, the road would not be easy but it's worth fighting for. Change is in the hands of Zimbabweans."

  9. Botshelo, methinks that our government should be applying the needed pressure to bring about real change in the poverty-stricken Zimbabwe.

  10. Zimbabwe people must get rid of Mugabe period. Zuma or SA should play no part but support the country when the time is right - when the geezer is dead, removed or whatever.

  11. But methinks SA ought to tell Mugabe to go. This can be done quietly of course.
